Four primary Information Systems resources were involved
in this project implementation. Each member had specific roles to perform.
Chief Information Officer
Supported the initial pilot, determined practical test cases and obtained
funding to complete the project.
Director, Networks & Telecommunications
Coordinated meetings with vendors and ensured our eventual multi-vendor
solution would technically co-exist.
Worked closely with vendors to obtain accurate configurations and price
quotes. Performed site surveys with vendors and developed final plans
for location of access points. Assisted in installation of access points,
data cabling and power.
Responsible for configuring access points with a static TCP/IP address
and closing the wireless network to unwanted users by applying access
